meet the characters
Born just outside of Husk, North Dakota, Berry is the youngest and most articulate of all the glutens. His sister Cherry, who has eluded capture, refers to him as the educated one in the family. Despite his accomplishments, Berry has been in and out of prison 2718 times.
Chaffie has been recognized in the archeological record as the longest serving of the gluten family, dating back to the Neolithic period. In the 1970’s Chaffie was presented the Nobel Peace Prize for humanity’s Most Important Grain. At the awards ceremony, Chaffie famously claimed to have invented the Smartphone.
Hops has always been a rebel, choosing a foreign name in her youth, Hops has stayed close to non-traditional brewing, gluemaking and nanotechnology. Always on the cutting edge, Hops has tirelessly explored new technologies in the fight to Free The Glutens.
Second only to corn, Kernel is the most popular character on our grain-filled planet and for thousands of years has been the recognizable face of the Glutens. From cereal boxes to late night television, Kernel’s face ( which makes up most of her person ) continually and bravely reminds us of their cause.

Break out Berry, break out Kernel, Chaffie and Hops. Free them from their prison cells. Freeing the glutens isn’t easy, they are caged again and again at each level in increasingly impenetrable fortresses. Play up to 20 levels. The highest score to date is: 15000, with all glutens freed and all stones smashed. Adjust the power of the balls with a swipe, break the stones, break the cages!
Fire a ball with a swipe, destroy the stones that protect the cages; 10 points for every stone smashed and 20 points for every gluten freed
There are 5 different bonus stones, and up to 9 per level
The glutens are imprisoned in cages of wood, iron, stone and finally of aluminium oxynitride and steel.
Each type of prison requires an increasing number of impacts to breakthrough.
